The basics

CEO Daddy is a long-form interview show about the decisions behind remarkable lives.
Every guest walks us through the bet everybody knows about and the smaller decision that, looking back, made everything else possible.

Lukas Simianer enlisted in the Army at 17, served with the 82nd Airborne, and went on to build companies employing hundreds of people, many of them fellow veterans.
He has also lost one, heard no from 185 investors before hearing yes, and knows what it means to start again.

Our mission
CEO Daddy finds people who made consequential decisions before they knew how things would turn out. We go back to those moments to understand what they chose, what it cost, and what the experience taught them about work, leadership, family, failure and responsibility.
The show was built for veterans first, because leaving the military can mean going from a clear mission, team and place in the world to having to define all three for yourself. But that experience isn't unique to veterans. At some point, everyone has to decide what they want to build, who they want to become, and what they're willing to do about it.
Guests
We're looking for people with something useful to say about how they got here, including the decisions that worked, the ones that didn't, and what the experience taught them.
